[Fk-international] change of contact person / kind of goodbye

Dear partners,



today I have to tell you that I will not work as a coordinator in our department of peace services anymore. After seven years of coordinating voluntary services I am reaching for new challanges and working tasks. At the same time our organisation has been growing in the last year and therefore there will be instead of one director a team of two from now on. I am very happy to become a part of that and together with Christof form the new directors team in our organisation.



But this of course also means that I will leave something too. And one big part is the contact and cooperation with you. I really enjoyed working together with you. Over the years we got to know each other better and better and I am very happy to have had the chance to be in exchange with you. Highlights for me in the last years have been the partner conference and other occasions when we have met either when I came to visit you or when we did seminars together etc. It was enriching to have an insight in the work and context you do, to search for ways of improving our voluntary services together, to learn from each other. Thanks for that. I am also very happy to have met you in person and I am a bit sad that from now on we will have less contact. For sure I will follow the voluntary services closely and be responsible to guide my new collegue through her work. I hope that also as a director I might have the chance to meet you from time to time. Whenever you come to Halle, you are always welcome not only to Friedenskreis, but also to my place.



The new coordinator for voluntary services Franziska will start on Monday. She will introduce herself to you. I will keep my mailadress. You can still reach me on that.
